Christian Dior Addict 2 (for women) – A brief history

The perfume Addict 2 was launched in 2005 by the design house Christian Dior. It is the newest version of Addict aromas, combining floral fruity essences and exotic spices.

Christian Dior Addict 2 – Fragrance notes of the scent

Main notes – orange, pine-apple, grapefruit, water- melon, lily of the valley, freesia, lotus (the holy flower of the beauty), bergamot, white musk, sandalwood.

Christian Dior Addict 2  – Mild touch, fragrance notes and lasting power of the scent

The perfume is floral-  fruity. Gentleness of  flowers is surrounded by fresh fruits and almost noticeable spices. The aroma is warm but has bold accords which cause emotion and enthusiasm. Musk and sandalwood create stability. Freesia and lily of the valley give a gentle scent, vital and tempting. Bergamot is slightly noticeable but in a combination with the citruses gives to the perfume a really fascinating aroma. You can enjoy it for 18 hours after application. Don’t forget, that there is a lasing trace that it will be with you more than a twenty hour period.

Rochas Lumiere

Lumiere or “The Light” appeared in 1984. Its floral composition included: aldehydes, bergamot, fruity and green notes, violet and orange blossom as top; honeysuckle, hyacinth, oriss root, rose, tuberose and ylang-ylang in the middle; and cedar, musk, oakmoss, sandalwood and vetiver at the base. It was re-launched in 2000. Being relatively similar to its forerunner, it became modern; kept its brightness and optimism but became lighter and fruitier. The soft beginning includes floral notes of lily-of-the-valley, honeysuckle, orange blossom along with fruity notes of bergamot and plum; slowly dries to the heart of flowers where Damask rose reigns followed by sweet apricot; to the base of sandalwood, musk, cedar, vanilla, tonka bean and vetiver.

Guerlain Champs Elysees

It was first created by Jacques Guerlain in 1904, but the contemporary Champs Elisées has nothing common with the first fragrance but the name. Still it is also a beautiful fragrance.
